First phase of a multiphase master plan, 1188 Mission Street includes 440 apartment units, fronting Mission Street. The combination of silvery metal panels and beige color of the precast concrete panels over six stories of curtain wall glazing transforms a simple rectangle into a sculptural form. The massiveness of the precast panels is lightened by two story high windows.
